Greyfriars Kirkyard, Edinburgh. The Black Mausoleum belongs tae Sir George Mackenzie, kent tae everybody as Bluidy Mackenzie, the man who locked twelve hunner Covenanters intae a field at the back ae that same kirkyard in 1679. Maist ae them didnae come oot.

He lay there quiet fur three hunner year. Then in 1999 a homeless fella broke intae the tomb looking fur somewhere dry, went through the floor, and landed in whit was doon there.
